Tutor of Health and Social Care – 0.4 fte – Fixed Term – 5th October 2020 – 14 July 2021
The College wishes to appoint an enthusiastic part-time (0.4 fte), Teacher of Health and Social Care (would suit NQT) with strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage with learners and will be responsible for the planning, development and successful delivery of teaching and learning within the Curriculum Area. Experience of working with 16-19 year olds would be an advantage, although we welcome applications from teachers with a wide range of experience. You will be joining an experienced, dynamic team with a strong tradition of innovative teaching and learning and student support.
Salary for the post will be on the Sixth Form College teachers’ pay scale, depending on qualification and experience, within the range NSP 1 to NSP 9 (currently £24,765 - £40,418) - 0.4 FTE per annum (pro rata £9,906.00 - £16,167.20) NQT rate £18,499 per annum (pro rata = £7,399.60)
