Franklin College is a thriving, successful sixth form college serving north east Lincolnshire and the surrounding rural and coastal areas, with around 1,700 full-time 16-18 and 500 part-time adult students. A number of exciting opportunities have arisen due to the continued growth of the College and we are therefore seeking to expand our Marketing, Admissions and Schools Liaison team. The Marketing Officer is a pivotal role, working closely with the Marketing Manager to develop and deliver effective marketing initiatives and activities for a variety of stakeholders, including, but not limited to, planning events, coordinating content for both print and digital materials and playing a lead role in the management of the Colleges social media and PR strategies. This role demands a proactive, dynamic and creative individual with excellent communication, research and digital skills. Flexibility is also essential as evening and weekend work will be required.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished marketing professional who is educated to degree level and also holds a recognised Marketing qualification (CIM or equivalent), or is currently working towards a professional qualification. Previous line management experience would also be advantageous but is not essential as training and support will be provided.

The salary range for this position is in line with the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Spine, Points 18 – 22 which is currently £28,499 - £32,217 full time equivalent. The starting salary will be dependent on previous experience and qualifications.
