This is an exciting opportunity to join our hardworking and dedicated team of HR professionals, working in a fast paced and varied role. The role of HR Advisor is pivotal to the success of the College in building a culture of trust, embedding the College’s values and sustaining a high performing workforce.

We are looking for someone who is confident and resourceful; with a proactive and positive approach, thorough and well organised, with extensive experience of working independently on complex case work and HR projects. They will provide an outstanding service to line managers and employees alike, offering professional and pragmatic HR advice in line with the College’s Polices and Procedure.

Experience of HR system implementations and devising and delivering in house training would be advantageous, as would experience of working in education or a similar sector. In addition to this, we are seeking someone who has a genuine passion for promoting wellbeing in the workplace to take a lead role in delivering a new wellbeing strategy which will enable the College to fulfil its ambition to be the sixth form education provider and employer of choice.

The HR Advisor will ideally hold a CIPD Level 5 HR Management Diploma or equivalent qualification and must have previous experience in a HR Advisor role or similar, working in a busy and sometimes pressurised environment.

This is a full time position working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday all year round, although consideration would be given to making this role term time only, plus 10 days for the right candidate.

The salary range for this role is between points 20 – 23 on the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Spine, currently £30,105 - £32,755 full time equivalent.
