Job Type: Full time, Permanent, All Year Round

Franklin College is a thriving, successful sixth form college serving north east Lincolnshire and the surrounding rural and coastal areas, with around 1,700 full-time 16-18 and 500 part-time adult students. We are an inclusive college with an excellent local reputation, and a firm belief in the value of effective partnerships that support student progress and success. The College has a strong focus on teaching, learning and assessment, and this was recognised in our most recent Ofsted judgement of Good with Outstanding features. Our core objective is to maintain our position as a high-achieving and inclusive sixth form college which inspires, supports and motivates our students to achieve their full potential.

A number of exciting opportunities have arisen due to the continued growth of the College and we are therefore seeking to expand our Marketing, Admissions and Schools Liaison team. We need enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join the team to drive forward our plans to improve student communications, engagement and recruitment.

The Creative Content Assistant will play a key role in strengthening the College’s brand through content support, provision of creative services, management of core digital platforms, and user experience design and research. This role will also support recruitment events and our admissions processes.

Our ambitious growth plans make our online and digital branding and presence more important than ever before with the team working hard to develop and deliver new and innovative ways of engaging our target audience.  If you have a genuine passion for supporting young people on their journey to a dream future and think you can provide an outstanding marketing and communications service to our College, then look no further.  Previous experience of digital marketing and working with young people is essential, along with a relevant level 3 qualification and excellent ICT skills. A degree in a relevant subject would also be advantageous but is not essential.

The salary range for this role is in line with the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay, Spine Points 7 – 10 which is currently £20,126 - £22,254 full time equivalent.  The starting salary will be dependent on previous experience and qualifications.

Other benefits include: generous local government pension scheme, free gym facilities, free parking, Cycle to Work Scheme and excellent on-site catering provision.

Interviews will take place Thursday 9th June, 2022. No recruitment agencies please.

Please be aware that CV’s will not be accepted. If you require further assistance please phone the HR Department on 01472 875014 or e-mail
