Job Type: Full Time, 12 months fixed term

ASSISTANT IT TECHNICIAN – FULL TIME – 12 MONTHS FIXED TERM

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Tech Team Department. The role of Assistant IT Technician is pivotal to the success of the College in supporting the use of technology and assisting to implement areas of our digital strategy.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable individual, with knowledge of computer hardware and software. The role would require the ability to analyse and solve problems, as well as a good understanding of computing terminology. Excellent customer service skills are essential as you will be delivering frontline IT services to all of our students and staff.

The successful candidate will possess knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, a good general education and must have previous experience of working in a customer focused role.

The salary range for this role is SFCA Support Staff pay points 3 which is £18,593.
