The T Level for Health offers a combination of classroom learning and invaluable hands-on experience, with an exciting industry placement of 315 hours throughout the course. You’ll spend 80% of your time immersed in engaging lessons in the classroom and 20% in a real-world placement with an employer. This combination of learning styles will ensure you develop the essential knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for a successful career in Nursing.


Course Content

In the first year of this comprehensive course, you’ll study core health and science modules, equipping you with a solid foundation for working in the Health & Science sector. You will explore topics including epidemiology, health, safety, and environmental considerations, managing information and data, and an in-depth exploration of various body systems, such as reproductive and cardiovascular systems. You’ll gain valuable insights into scientific and clinical practice, person-centred care, infection prevention and control, safeguarding, and immunology. During Year 2, you’ll undertake three assignments tailored to your chosen occupational specialism, which are designed to showcase your practical skills. At the core of your occupational specialisation, you’ll focus on supporting the adult nursing team, building your knowledge and expertise in this critical area of healthcare.
