Course Content
Studying Health and Social Care at Level 2 will introduce you to the different services available within the industry and provide an insight into the essential employability skills you need to work in it. The course also looks at the importance of supporting individual rights for those in health, social care, and early years settings. You’ll explore verbal and non-verbal communication, along with specialist methods such as British Sign Language, Makaton and Braille. Take your learning outside of the classroom with an exciting work placement, where you can choose from a variety of different settings to suit your interests. As you progress throughout the course, you’ll develop self-confidence and academic study skills, supporting you with further progression, such as moving onto Level 3.Your Opportunities
