Franklin Banner Background Careers Progression Evening

Career and Progression Fair 2022

In the middle of National Careers Week following the STEM conference on Wednesday 9th March, we’re excited to host our annual Career and Progression Fair!

This is a really exciting event, hosting over 80 stands from universities, apprenticeship providers and employers.  Employers are there to talk about the employment opportunities that they offer, and the qualifications and employability skills that they look for when taking on new employees. Similarly, universities are in attendance to answer any questions relating to the courses that they offer, grades needed and what life is really like at their university.

Over the course of the evening there are talks from over 25 different universities and employers.  These cover a range of topics that will help our students plan and prepare for their next steps such as student finance, applying for higher degree apprenticeships, making the most of your personal statement, careers in medicine, sport, chemistry, accountancy, nursing and midwifery, apprenticeship routes in to law, and Oxbridge and Russell Group universities.

This really is a great event that our students and their parents are all welcome to attend with typically over 700 people in attendance.
