Living in North East Lincolnshire

Franklin College is located in Grimsby which is within North East Lincolnshire, a great part of the United Kingdom, with huge investment from international organisations and investment in developing industries, such as renewable energy. The area enjoys a relatively low cost of living, including house prices, compared to other parts of the UK. Excellent road and rail links make travelling easy, and there is an international airport just a short distance from the centre, from where you can access global destinations via Amsterdam.

There is a lot to do in North East Lincolnshire, with its beautiful, green parks, woodland and sandy beaches. Options include:

• The town has an indoor shopping centre and lots of restaurants and cafes.
• Multi-screen cinema.
• Two large leisure centres with swimming pools and gyms.
• An Auditorium and the Meridian park with regular live shows including comedy, ballet, drama and novelty.
• Caxton theatre – a small theatre offering local productions.
• There are great places to visit nearby, including the historic cities of Lincoln and York, stately homes, amazing countryside and, of course, the beach and seafront.
