Franklin works closely with local employers, universities and the Greater Lincolnshire LEP to ensure that we meet the area's skills needs and local priorities to support their future pipeline.
We have a comprehensive range of fantastic Professionals’ Programmes as part of our Centre for Professional Development.
Students are introduced to the CfPD at the start of their Franklin journey. The CfPD forms a key element of our students’ Study Programme, combining employability support and experiences with courses and their Aspire Programme. All these elements are key to our students’ future planning.
The range of programmes on offer is extensive, enabling us to support different interests; providing information and fantastic opportunities to support our students to make the best possible informed choices for their chosen futures.
Our strategic partnerships with local and regional employers allow us to plan and deliver programme based on the skills and education needed for our students’ journeys to fantastic futures after their time at Franklin.

Career Ready has a range of strands, all strategically planned around key priority sectors within the local region. This increases students' awareness of these sectors and allows them to develop an understanding of the skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to start on their journey to possible future careers in one of these areas.
Our current intake is supported by 23 ex-Franklin Career Ready students, all keen to help a student with the same level of support that they received when studying with us.
Our Career Ready strands include:
We have a range of Professionals’ Programmes which we deliver with other partner universities and organisations, these include:

Exhibitors include employers, apprenticeship providers and universities presenting admissions advice and entrance support from Oxbridge and Medicine who work with students to develop aspirations and inform future decisions.
