The Advanced Colleges Trust (ACT) is a sixth form education partnership between Wilberforce College in Hull, Franklin College in Grimsby, and John Leggott College in Scunthorpe, which secures the best possible future for young people across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and internationally through a shared access to resource, knowledge, expertise and relationships.
We Aim To:
- Ensure the best possible life chances for young people, their families and communities
- Provide the skills, qualifications and experience necessary to drive social mobility
- Deliver outstanding teaching that enables students to excel and achieve the best results possible
- Enhance students’ time with us through enriching extracurricular and social experiences
- Develop and maintain an innovative, inclusive and successful curriculum that is accessible to a wide range of young people and provides empowering pathways to fulfilling professions
- Remain open-access colleges with outstanding student support that gives our students access to global opportunities
- Use the combined skills, expertise and opportunities of the three colleges to maximise the potential of all young people across ACT
