It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our newly formed multi academy trust, Franklin College Trust. With thirty-five years of heritage as a designated Sixth Form College, I am incredibly proud to lead Franklin into the next phase of its education journey.
This phase is very unique, as although we are a multi-academy trust, Franklin Sixth Form College is the only member of the trust. This allows us to work in collaboration and partnership with as many organisations as possible to ensure our students can access the widest range of opportunities to ensure their success.
As always, we are guided by a deep belief in the power of education to transform lives and communities. Our trust has been created to bring together the very best of academic ambition, pastoral care, and real-world opportunity. Here, every student is known, valued, and encouraged to aim high supported by staff who are passionate about unlocking potential. Most importantly, we aim to cultivate a culture where curiosity is encouraged, diversity is celebrated, and excellence is achieved through hard work and support.
Our vision, ‘to provide the best possible life chances for our community’ has never been so important and we remain committed to achieving it.
As we move forward on journey, we invite our students, families, staff, and community partners to shape the path ahead with us. Together, we will build a Trust that stands for opportunity, integrity, and aspiration.
