In the first year of this comprehensive course, you’ll study core health and science modules, equipping you with a solid foundation for working in the Health & Science sector. You will explore topics including epidemiology, health, safety, and environmental considerations, managing information and data, and an in-depth exploration of various body systems, (reproductive and cardiovascular systems), among others. Gain insights into scientific and clinical practice, person-centred care, infection prevention and control, safeguarding, and immunology. During Year 2, you’ll undertake three assignments designed to showcase your practical skills, which, are tailored to your chosen occupational specialism. At the core of your occupational specialisation, you’ll focus on supporting the adult nursing team, building your knowledge and expertise in this critical area.


There are mandatory costs for uniform required for the placement element of this course, this may be funded through our Student Financial Support Fund.
