Course Content
As a student on Level 3 Engineering Applied Science, you will gain fascinating insights into the broader sciences of Physics, Chemistry and Biology, as well as gain hands-on experience through our extensive Personal and Professional Development programme.You will study the academic theory with Franklin while developing valuable, practical experience through leading apprenticeship provider and partner CATCH and other local engineering employers and universities.You’ll apply your theoretical knowledge learnt in the classroom while focusing on key areas of engineering, such as electrical and renewables. Throughout the course units such as Principles and Applications of Science, Practical Scientific Procedures and Skills, Investigative Project, Applications of Organic Chemistry and Electrical Circuits and their Application will ensure you are equipped not only with engineering-specific knowledge but a broad scientific knowledge in preparation for future study

Our Entry Requirements
This course requires a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade 4 or above, these must include, a grade 4 in Maths, English Language and GCSE Science or vocational equivalent.
