Spanish is a subject that requires a lot of speaking, so you will get plenty of individual speaking practise to develop your fluency and confidence, alongside reading, listening, and skills support. As part of the course, you'll study a Spanish language film and read the novel Like Water for Chocolate. You'll also explore the culture and practices of the Spanish-speaking world, examine multiculturalism in Spain, and investigate the effects of the Spanish Civil War.
