One of our very own students, Sophie Lee, has made the very generous decision to donate 16 inches of her hair to the Little Princess Trust!
Sophie will be having her hair cut off on Wednesday 30th March. Her hair will then be sent away to the Little Princess Trust, a UK based charity who provide real hair wigs free of charge to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment, and other conditions.
Since 2006, the Little Princess Trust have provided more than 12,000 wigs, and have given grants totalling over £15 million towards research projects focused on finding more effective treatments for childhood cancers, receiving the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service in 2012!
We’re super proud of Sophie for making the choice to donate her hair to such a fantastic cause, and we’re positive her choice will help make some lives a little bit brighter!
