We were very privileged today to have Christian Wolmar in Franklin to deliver a fascinating and thought provoking presentation to our Humanities and Career Academy students.
Christian is an award winning writer and broadcaster specialising in transport and is the author of a series of books on railway history including 'Railways & the Raj'. He was also the unsuccessful candidate for Labour in the December 2016 Richmond Park & North Kingston by-election.
He was able to engage the students on topics ranging from driver-less cars to the recent budget. Thanks very much!
