Course Content
Studying the single course will give you an extensive insight into the psychology of the behaviour and discipline used in Protective Services. You will develop your teamwork, leadership, and communication skills, alongside developing knowledge in criminology, police powers, and the law. The double course allows you to explore citizenship and diversity, physical preparation, health and wellbeing, government and protective services, and gives you the chance to develop a personal fitness programme. Uniformed Protective Services and Public Services students enjoy trips to the Fire Service, Police Stations, RAF Bases as well as paintballing at Elsham Hall and undertaking activities led by the Army, Police and NHS personnel.Your Assessment

If you're interested in progressing into a career in Uniformed Protective Services, this course will give you the employability skills and knowledge you need. You will study through a combination of both theory and practical elements, stepping outside of the classroom to take part in the many trips, visits, and practical activities linked to the police, fire service, and armed services.
