Course Content
You'll explore a variety of exciting topics, including person-centred approaches, public health strategies, infection control, anatomy, and physiology, among others. You'll also take your learning beyond the classroom by undertaking a one-week work experience placement, helping you develop your knowledge of the health and social care industry and the many careers available. You can take your studies further, with our triple course, covering additional subjects such as safeguarding vulnerable individuals, long- term physiological conditions, mental health conditions, learning disabilities, promoting positive behaviour, research methods, and supporting people with dementia. You will also have the opportunity to take part in our Health and Social Care Conference, where you'll have the chance to take part in specialist workshops from leading employers and universities, giving you valuable insight into the industry and future careers.
