Course Content
This T Level course will expand your knowledge and understanding across a range of subjects, including child behaviour and language acquisition, child development, the role in which the family and support agencies work in relation to a child's safeguarding, and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The theory learnt in the classroom will help you develop the practical and professional skills you need to become an early years practitioner, preparing you for employment or further studies. You'll also focus on becoming a reflective practitioner, which is crucial when working in education and early years. As part of studying this T Level, you'll complete a Supplementary Paediatric First Aid course, ensuring you're well prepared and ready to work in the childcare industry as soon as you graduate.Your Assessment

As a student on this innovative T Level, you'll spend three days a week learning with our expert Education and Early Years Team, with the remaining two days spent on placement in both an early years setting and a primary school. This gives you invaluable work experience and insight into your chosen industry as you put your classroom learning into practice and build the skill, confidence, and experience employers are looking for.
