We proudly hosted our second Standout Student Awards ceremony this week, welcoming students and parents/carers to the College for the celebratory event. First launched in 2023, the awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of our students whilst acknowledging their commitment to their studies and contributions to college life.
Students were selected for their accomplishments with nominations based on improved attendance, demonstrating resilience and perseverance, positive feedback from work placements, going beyond expectations, unique contributions to college life, and an outstanding work ethic.
This term, Interim Principal Wendy Ellis proudly presented awards to ten exceptional students who all excelled in various aspects of their studies. Each student received not only the recognition of their achievements but also a certificate and a much-deserved gift voucher. Wendy said: “The Standout Student Awards are a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the exceptional qualities and achievements of our students. The College recognises the importance of parents and extended support networks as partners, and events such as this are another opportunity to welcome them into College and recognise that support. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and well done to the students, keep up the hard work."
