Health and Social Care

Higher Education Diploma Allied Health Professionals

Level 3 Access

Our Access to Higher Education course will help you develop the skills and knowledge you need in preparation for higher education. It has been designed as a pathway for those who want to progress to university and aspire to become a healthcare professional. You will combine classroom-based learning with a voluntary or paid placement in a healthcare setting, giving you real hands-on experience.

Throughout your studies, you will explore a variety of units, including Anatomy and Physiology, Safeguarding, Sociological Perspectives, and Health Promotion, as well as develop your research project and critical evaluation skills. You will be assessed through controlled assessments, examinations, and coursework.
