On Wednesday 25th April, Franklin student Katrina attended an awards ceremony for Career Ready national student of the year.
Despite Katrina's fantastic efforts this year and dedication to the Career Ready programme she narrowly missed out on this accolade but was deservedly crowned Regional Winner for the Yorkshire, Humber and North East.
To make the evening even more special Katrina was presented with her award by former Franklin College Career Academy student Cameron Barber who won this award 3 years ago.
We are very proud of Katrina who is an inspirational student who will do amazing things in the future.
