Students, staff and visitors at Franklin College have been supporting the National 'Raise the Rate' campaign the increase funding for Sixth Form Education.
The campaign has been launched, calling for an increase on 16-18-year-old student funding, which has been cut twice since 2010 and frozen at £4,000 per students, per year since 2013.
The campaign led by the Sixth Form Colleges Association, wants funding to eventually increase to £4,760 per student in the next spending review.
We need the support of school and college leaders, governors, students, parents, teachers and support staff to make the campaign a success.
There are lots of ways to get involved, for example:
At 10,000 signatures, government will respond to this petition
At 100,000 signatures, this petition will be considered for debate in Parliament
