Our Art Foundation students have just taken part in a four day study visit to London to gather research and inspiration for their final major project. The students took the opportunity to explore the city and east end with highlights being: Whitechapel Gallery, Brick Lane, Damien Hirst’s Newport Street Gallery and Tate Britain. It was great to also meet up with former Franklin College art student and recent Falmouth University graduate Matthew Greenwood who is currently working as a professional photographer for the Tate Gallery. The students are looking forward to showcasing the work for this project in a public exhibition this summer.
