This is an exciting opportunity to join our hardworking and dedicated team of HR professionals, working in a fast paced and varied role. The role of HR Assistant is pivotal to the success of the College in building a culture of trust, embedding the College’s values and sustaining a high performing workforce.

We are looking for someone who is confident and resourceful; with a proactive and positive approach, thorough and well organised and able to work independently on a wide variety of generalist HR tasks and projects. They will provide an outstanding service to line managers and employees alike, offering a professional and comprehensive HR service.

Experience of coordinating/leading on recruitment campaigns and adhering to Safer Recruitment practices is essential, whether that be in an educational setting or similar. Experience of HR system implementations would be advantageous, as would experience of absence management.

The HR Assistant will ideally hold a CIPD Level 3 Certificate or equivalent qualification and must have previous experience in a HR Assistant role or similar, working in a busy and sometimes pressurised environment.

Part time position working 22.5 hours per week or full time considered, Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:30-13:00, all year round.

The salary range for this role is between points on the Sixth Form Colleges Support Staff Pay Spine, currently points 7-12, pro rata between £10,318 – £14,287 (£19,927 - £23,495 for a full time equivalent).
