Learning Skills

The College has a well established guidance programme which includes Core Studies and learning skills workshops. If students need assistance with learning they should visit SID or talk to their tutors to arrange an appointment with a member of the Learning Skills Team. Help, advice and guidance from the Learning Skills Department is available to all students.

If you have had learning support before in your previous education or suspect you might need it (for example dyslexia assessment) let your personal tutor know as soon as possible. Whatever your support need - access, childcare, visual/auditory impairment, College staff will make every effort to help you.

The College works closely with partner schools, Connexions and other support agencies to provide for students with disabilities and learning difficulties.
