Getting to Franklin College

Franklin College is easy to get to by all means of transport

After students reach the age of 17 they often have the use of a car for travel to college. There is monitored car parking available. Some Local Authorities have provided a petrol allowance for students where no appropriate or practicable bus service exists.

By Train

The routes from Barnetby and Barton upon Humber are used by a number of students, many of whom live in villages with stops along the way.

By Bus

The college is served by routes provided by Stagecoach and Amvale. The college has worked with the companies to build up direct routes to college from Immingham, Stallingborough, Healing, Louth, North Somercotes and the A16 villages. Students can apply to their Local Authorities for concessionary bus fares. You can look at the Traveline East Midlands website for more information on how to get to Franklin.
