Apprenticeship (L2)/Advanced Apprenticeship (L3)
Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
For those who work with learners of any age up to 18 within a school/support setting.
Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning: 7303 PTLLS
This is an introduction to teaching for those who are considering teaching with adults, or those who are just starting to teach. You do not have to have prior experience but should be qualified to Level 3 in your own subject.
Teaching Assistants’ Course (L2)
This is a one year course, starting in September 2011. You will need a placement in a school before you can enrol on this course.
Preparing to Work in Schools
This is a ten week daytime course.
This course gives you a good basic introduction to working in Schools and it will help you to decide if this is the career for you.
University Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (Literacy/ESOL) Level 5
One year part time course is suitable for those who have some experience of teaching and would like to specialise in the teaching of adult literacy or ESOL. Contact Franklin for further details.
